Who we are

Jaguar Assessoria Contábil is an accounting office. This Policy is to inform and inform all the holders how Jaguar Assessoria Contábil performs the treatment of personal data, under the terms of the General Law of Protection of Personal Data – LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018).

Holder: natural person to whom the personal data subject to processing refer to;

controller: a natural or legal person, governed by public or private law, who is responsible for decisions concerning the processing of personal data;

operator: a natural or legal person under public or private law who processes personal data on behalf of the controller;

controller: person appointed by the controller and operator to act as a communication channel between the controller, the data subjects and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD);

processing agents: the controller and the operator;

processing: any operation carried out with personal data, such as those relating to collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, filing, storage, elimination, evaluation or control of the information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction;

anonymization: the use of reasonable and available technical means at the time of processing, whereby a data loses the possibility of association, directly or indirectly, with an individual;

consent: free, informed and unequivocal manifestation by which the data subject agrees with the processing of his/her personal data for a specific purpose;

international data transfer: transfer of personal data to a foreign country or international body of which the country is a member; and

shared use of data: communication, dissemination, international transfer, interconnection of personal data or shared processing of personal databases by public bodies and entities in fulfillment of their legal competencies, or between them and private entities, reciprocally, with specific authorization, for one or more processing modalities allowed by these public entities, or between private entities.

With whom do we share your data?

In order to carry out our activities and develop our business, we operate with partner companies and with some suppliers. Sometimes the sharing of your personal data is necessary for a type of service to be done. Whenever possible, we share your data in an anonymized way. Suppliers and Partners

We rely on suppliers who may handle personal data that we collect. We always seek to carefully evaluate our vendors and enter into contractual obligations with them regarding information security and protection of Personal Data, with the aim of minimizing risks to the Data Subject. Yes. Although our headquarters are located in Brazil and our business is intended for people located in Brazil, thus applying the Brazilian laws related to the protection of personal data, your personal data may be transferred to meet the purposes set out in this Policy, because some of our suppliers and partners may be located outside Brazil

These transfers involve only companies that demonstrate compliance with applicable laws, and maintain a level of compliance similar to or even more stringent than that provided by applicable Brazilian law.

What are the rights of the Holder of Personal Data?

Art. 18 of LGPD guarantees that you have a number of rights related to your personal data, among them:

Confirmation and Access of your data;

Correction of wrong or outdated data;

Anonymization, blocking or deletion of your data;

Information about the sharing of your data;

Revocation of consent;

Oppose the processing of your data.

Whenever you exercise your rights, we may request some additional information to verify your identity, in order to prevent fraud. We do this to ensure the security and privacy of our customers. Still, some requests may not be answered immediately, but we are committed to answering all requests within a reasonable time and always in compliance with applicable law.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We have an Information Security Policy with rules on the retention and disposal of personal data, which defines the guidelines for determining the appropriate retention period for each type of personal data collected, taking into account its nature, the need to collect it, and the purpose for which it will be processed.

Personal data is stored only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless there is any other reason for its retention, such as compliance with any legal, regulatory, contractual, or other obligations, provided that it is supported by a legal basis. Of course, there is always your right to request the deletion of the data, as per the item “What are your rights as a Data Subject?”.

What are our responsibilities?

Our responsibility is to take care of your personal data and use it only for the purposes described in this Policy. And to ensure your privacy and the protection of your personal data, we have adopted security and governance practices appropriate to our market, including the use of encryption techniques and other information security systems. We have a governance and privacy program, good practice and governance rules, internal policies and procedures that establish the conditions of organization, operation regime, educational actions, supervision and risk mitigation mechanisms, and other aspects related to the treatment of personal data.

We conduct training and educational activities for our employees, as well as, we seek to carefully evaluate our suppliers and partners and sign contractual obligations with them for information security and personal data protection, in order to minimize risks to you, the data subject.

We work to protect your privacy and your personal data, but unfortunately total security is something that does not depend on our actions and processes alone. Unauthorized entry or use of third parties into your account, hardware or software failure that is not under our control, and other factors can compromise the security of your personal data. Your actions are therefore critical to maintaining a secure environment for everyone.
